The "First Ladies Of The Church".

   Lately, driving across America, one would notice the bill boards with pictures of Pastors and preachers  proclaiming why one should visit their mega empire, and sign up as members. Beside them, the "First Lady". I always wonder how much has been taken from the "poor" manipulated, brain washed church members for these adds. These immaculately dressed Pastors and their First Ladies, with their thousands of dollars' "BLINGS', seem to feel that they have nothing to worry about as long as members keep giving in the name of God. They feel that they are the Shepherds, the bigger the congregation, the more the income. Well, do they think about their aging congregation? I don't think so.
   During the presidential election time, special envelopes were passed to congregations for special offerings for those running for posts. Republican pastors or Democratic pastors, both had a reason why their congregation should give their hard earned monies,or ware fare pennies to their Pastor supported candidate. As a church attendant, I had my own share of why I should vote and for who.
   The Bible has alot to say about elected officials;
 Romans 13:1 says, "Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities, for there is not authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God."

"The authorities that exist are appointed by God: Paul does not suggest that God approves a corrupt government, ungodly officials, or unjust legislation. Sometimes, however, in punishment for the sins of a people, or for other reasons known to Him, God allows evil rulers to have authority for a time, as the OT prophets frequently testify. Ideally, God grants authority to serve good ends. How that authority is exercised will be the accounting of each to whom it has been given."

   Now to my topic, while listening to the radio, I heard of a reality show about "the first ladies of the Church". The fact is, the church should not have the so-called First Ladies in first place. Second, when Christ was on earth, He, even though He was the Master, by all means, He was entitle to, He said this;

Then you will learn to know God's will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.    Who are these First Ladies Money Mongers who are so hungry enough, not satisfied by their husbands' non-taxable income from the congregations, unlimited spendings such that they need more money, the drive so strong that they have to use the name of God to achieve their means? To them I have to this veres in the bible to think about; of course, they know it, hence their their husbands are the pastors and Shepherds of the "SHEEP".  Timothy6:  10For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.    So do not complain to your husbands why the collection is not up to par during this season. The congregation is watching what your husband is doing with the money they give in the name of God. This show is not serving God's purpose; the Shepard is sleeping and the Wolfe is now in charge. Just a thought
